First Fruits

When God created pumpkins, I think he was in a particularly happy mood. I can't help smiling when I look at them. Especially when they're growing by the dozens right outside my back door. These two minis were the first ones ready to pluck from the vine.

We're trying our hand at some larger varieties this year too, Cinderella and the larger white ones. Keeping my fingers crossed that they will do half as well as the baby boos have done.

Another mini I adore, growing outside my door...

YUM!!!

I don't know about Cinderella but I am jealous. Beautiful pumpkins.. I've always loved the white ones. I've put your blog on my blog roll (just starting out) and would love for you to add me to yours.. http://lemoncholie.blogspot.com/.

I am so excited about autumn and the promise of pumpkins.I must admit I am a bit jealous about your cherry tomatoes though.....the chipmunks and our dog keep eating them just as they are ready to pick....I haven't had any yet! :-) Have a great day
